Menjangan 2N 3D Tour, the best choice for enjoying Bali

Hi traveler, I am back with a story about my fantastic trip to Menjangan Island when I escorted guests to that special place. This trip is part of our tour program, which is exclusively designed as a private tour called Menjangan 2N 3D.

Menjangan 2N 3D Tour special tour 

This trip is basically personal tailored according to our guest’s itinerary, who want to explore the beauty of Menjangan Island. Menjangan island is a small island that is part of the Bali National Park, located about 10 Km Northwest of Bali.

I personally had a lot of fun during the trip, because it was a special trip to go to a precious place where there are so many hidden tourist spots. Going to Menjangan Island will take you through some of Bali’s incredible natural scenery, making the trip full of joy.

Day one on the way to Menjangan Island

The guest who was interested in going to Menjangan Island was a family from France with 3 children. They are excited and can’t wait to get started, that  makes the vacation become more interesting and unforgettable. 

Jatiluwih

We started our trip from Jimbaran Kuta Selatan, because the guests were staying in Puri Bambu for a couple nights.  We went to Jatiluwih to see the rice terrace scenery which is famous as a world heritage by UNESCO

As you can see in the picture, a farmer traditionally plows a field with an ox. Jatiluwih is an image of ancient Bali that still lives in the glow of modern technology. I took this photo from the Puri Alam Bali, as the guests were spending their 1st night in this place.

Munduk area

Before heading to the hotel, we take our guests to enjoy the unique underwater temples around Lake Tamblingan. After enjoying the afternoon in the cool and quiet hills, we headed to the hotel at Puri Alam Bali, which is a small, beautiful and peaceful homestay in the Munduk area. 

Their room rates are around Rp. 300.000 to 500.000 depending on the room, includes breakfast, tax and service.  All the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are well organized and clean, the breakfast they provide is quite good too.

The second day for Menjangan 2N 3D tour

Swimming with the dolphins

Early in the morning we went directly to Melka Hotel in Lovina Beach, because they wanted to swim with dolphins. This is an optional program and the cost of dolphin tours is Rp. 1.000.000 ++ per person.  At the end of the tour, they were very happy because they really enjoyed swimming with the dolphins. 

After they finished swimming with the dolphins at Lovina beach, we took a short break to change and have breakfast. Next we will head to the west of Bali to Pemuteran before crossing over to Menjangan Island.

Hidden gem at Pemuteran Village

Pemuteran is a remote area that has several tourist spots as an extraordinary hidden gem. This area is a paradise for tourists who love natural beauty and colorful marine life. In Pemuteran, tourists can do 3 activities from morning to evening such as hiking, snorkeling and sunbathing on the beach. 

Jogging

Do you like jogging?. Head to the beautiful Bukit Kursi! You’ll be spoiled with green views of the rural landscape and the beach. Reaching the top of the hill is not too difficult as there are stairs with railings on both sides. 

In addition to enjoying the unspoiled natural scenery, you can also see a sacred temple located right at the top of the hill, called Pura Bukit Kursi. Around the temple, while enjoying the tranquility of nature, you can do meditation to unite yourself with the sacred nature.

Underwater activities

Pemuteran Marine Park is one of the best marine tourism spots for diving or snorkeling as it has 80% of the world’s coral reef species living in its waters. The Menjangan 2N 3D tour program is more complete by diving or snorkeling around the waters of Pemuteran.

Menjangan Island Bali

It takes about 2.5 hours to cover the entire beach, which is the Bali National Park area. While in the park we could easily see deer, black monkeys and starlings. The park is protected by the state and visitors are not allowed to hunt.

For your information, starlings are one of Bali’s native birds that are almost extinct. We were very happy to be in this national park and feel the calm and virgin forest atmosphere.

Day three back to Kuta

On the way back to Kuta, we pass to Bedugul, a cool hilly area that has several interesting spots. Before completing the Menjangan 2N 3D tour, we visited the ancient Pura Ulun Danu and the beautiful botanical gardens.
